HandyBuddy operates nationwide. Availability is confirmed automatically when you submit your request.
How does HandyBuddy match me with certified experts?
We use experience, ratings, service type, and location to ensure you’re matched with a qualified expert.
I don't want to pay upfront
Payment is only collected once your service is scheduled and confirmed with a provider.
Trying to submit a request but not sure when my equipment will arrive. How do I book service?
You can submit your request and update your availability once your equipment delivery date is confirmed.
How can I schedule my request?
Scheduling options are shown during checkout and finalized once a provider is assigned.
I'm having issues submitting my request
Please visit the Help Center or contact support so we can assist you with completing your request.
I need to speak with the installer before submitting a request
Installers are assigned after your request is submitted. You’ll be able to communicate once matched.
I want a quote (and service) for multiple items
You can add multiple items during checkout to receive a combined quote and schedule service together.
I live in Canada but the quote is in US dollars
All quotes are displayed in US dollars, even for services requested in Canada.
The address needed for service is different from the address for my card
You can enter a separate service address during checkout — it does not need to match your billing address.

What is the phone number for customer support?
HandyBuddy does not provide phone support. All support requests must be submitted through our Help Center.
How can I see reviews of my matched expert’s work?
Reviews for your matched expert can be viewed directly from your request details in the Help Center.
I want to cancel a service request
To cancel a request, submit a cancellation through the Help Center as soon as possible.
Why did you already charge my credit card?
Your payment method is authorized at booking to secure your service. Final charges follow completion.
What is the status of my request? I haven’t heard anything from you.
You can view real-time updates and messages by logging into your Help Center account.
I need to schedule / reschedule my appointment
Scheduling changes must be submitted through the Help Center for proper handling.
I want to report an issue with scheduling
Please submit scheduling issues through the Help Center so our team can assist.
I’d like to have my request reassigned to a different provider
Provider reassignment requests should be submitted through the Help Center.
I need to set / reset my password
Passwords can be set or reset from the login page using the “Forgot Password” option.
How can I change the payment method saved?
Payment methods can be updated from your account dashboard.
How can I coordinate the delivery with setup?
Delivery coordination details should be shared through the Help Center to ensure proper scheduling.

How can I get a copy of the paid invoice?
Invoice copies are available after your service is completed and paid.
I have a question / dispute about a charge
For billing questions or disputes, please submit your request through our Help Center .

How-To Guide

Locate The Service You Need

Start by searching our site's extensive online service catalog to find your exact project.  Once you have found it, click the QUOTES & SERVICE button (see below). 

Use the main "All Services" navigation menu (top of page) to locate the type of service you need.  

Or one of many search boxes on the site to find your item/service

Can't find what you're looking for? Submit a special request.

Click the "Quotes & Service" Button

After you click the QUOTES & SERVICE > button, a modal will appear for you to enter your zip code. 

View a Quote and Schedule a Request

Get a Quote.*

On each Quote page, you will see a fixed-price for your project -- this is not an estimate. The actual price for the service depends on your location and the options and/or ADD-ONs you select. 

Schedule.

Click the calendar widget right below the quote. The first available date will be first date you can select. This is the date that will be shared with the provider. They will contact you to confirm your actual appointment date. 

*Note that agents are unable to provide quotes in chat or over phone.  In addition, you must submit a request online as agents cannot take requests over the phone either.

Submit a Request

After you've gotten your quote and have chosen a scheduling preference, you're ready to get matched with a certified local expert. Simply Click the GET MATCHED > button to proceed and click BOOK NOW to finish up.

Login.

At the top of every page is a link to the login page (it's also in the footer). Login to your HandyBuddy account and look for the request on your account summary page.

Cancel.

Under the status (in the "My Requests" section, you will see a link to "Cancel Service ?" Click that link and it will take you to the page where you can submit the cancellation.
